Location & surroundings

Rewal sits up on the cliffs.

A quiet seaside resort in West Pomerania, between Świnoujście and Kołobrzeg. A broad sandy beach below the cliff, pine woods behind you, the coastal cycle path right outside the door — and neighbouring villages you can reach on foot or by narrow-gauge railway.

The beach

It is 50 metres from the house to the path down to the beach, where there is also a lovely beach bar. Below you will find fine, wide sand — supervised in summer, often almost deserted out of season. If you want to walk further: towards Trzęsacz and Niechorze the beach runs for kilometres beneath the cliff.

Steps and ramps lead back up; with a pushchair we recommend the access in the village centre.

Days out

Our personal recommendations — all within easy reach, no long drives.

approx. 3 km

The church ruin of Trzęsacz

The famous wall of the collapsed church right on the cliff edge — with a viewing platform and a museum. Walk there along the beach and come back along the cycle path.

approx. 7 km

Niechorze lighthouse

A red brick tower from 1866; on clear days you can see half the coast from the top. Afterwards, Lake Liwia Łuża and its birdlife are worth the detour.

from Rewal

Narrow-gauge railway to the coast

In summer the historic Nadmorska Kolej Wąskotorowa runs between Gryfice, Rewal and Pogorzelica — for children, the highlight of the week.

approx. 40 km

Kołobrzeg

A spa town with a pier, a brine spring and a harbour. Good for a rainy day: thermal baths, the museum and a long stroll.

approx. 55 km

Wolin National Park & Międzyzdroje

Cliffs, the bison enclosure and the Gosań viewpoint — the most dramatic landscape in the region.

approx. 90 km

Szczecin

For culture and city life: the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes, the philharmonic hall, the market halls — a good day trip.

15th Meridian East

A special place on the 15th meridian east, which forms the basis of Central European Time (CET) and lies exactly one hour ahead of the Prime Meridian in Greenwich.

Getting here

By car

Via Świnoujście or the Kołbaskowo border crossing, then the coast road towards Trzęsacz / Rewal. About 3.5 hours from Berlin, about 6 from Hamburg. Parking is free, and at the Premium Apartment you drive right up to the terrace.

By ferry

From Ystad or Trelleborg to Świnoujście, then about an hour along the coast.

By plane

Szczecin-Goleniów airport, about 70 km away. We recommend a hire car — the surrounding area is far nicer to explore with one.

By train and bus

To Gryfice, then a bus to Rewal, or the narrow-gauge railway in summer. Let us know and we will help you plan.

We send you the key handover details with your booking confirmation.
